SVP understands how overwhelming the first opportunity to practice veterinary medicine can be after graduation. We’ve been there. To support new doctors as they fine-tune their technical skills, we pair each recent graduate with a dedicated and experienced coach as well as a mentor.
As a member of our medical team, in addition to your assigned coach, you also gain the support of over 160 hospitals. Confer with seasoned veterinarians on difficult cases, get experience in specialized areas of medicine, and build your confidence as a practitioner of veterinary care. SVP isn’t your destination; we’re your pathway forward.
Our Mentorship Program
Our year-long mentorship program builds upon the onboarding experience and the foundational skills built with the support of their in-hospital coach. The recent graduate is also paired with an experienced mentor who will help them create a focused plan that nurtures their personal and professional development. Together as an organization, we ensure that new doctors have access to the right opportunities to help them reach their career goals.
